This Licence is an agreement between you, the “User”, and Ubisoft Entertainment and/or its licensors and/or its beneficiaries (“Ubisoft”), which grants the User the non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use copyrighted elements of Ubisoft’s video games including without limitation graphical assets, images, drawings, works of authorship, trademarks, design, software programs (the “CONTENT”).

1- The Licence
Ubisoft grants the User a non-exclusive and non-transferable Licence to use the CONTENT, but remains the owner of all the rights relating thereto.
Any rights not specifically transferred by this Licence remain the property of Ubisoft.
The CONTENT is licensed and not sold to the User, for private use.
The Licence does not confer any right or title to the CONTENT and cannot be understood as a transfer of intellectual property rights to the CONTENT.
2- Ownership of the CONTENT
The User recognises that all of the rights associated with the CONTENT and its components (in particular the titles, computer codes, libraries, archives and text contained in the CONTENT), as well as the rights relating to the trademark and copyrights, are the property of Ubisoft and are protected by applicable regulations or other Laws, Treaties and international agreements concerning intellectual property.
3- Use of the CONTENT
The User is authorised to use the CONTENT for the specific purpose of preparing articles in the on-line and print press based on the CONTENT (“the Purpose”).
The Licence is granted solely for the Purpose.
It is not permitted:
- To operate the CONTENT commercially except for the Purpose,
- To use it contrary to morality or the laws in force,
- To modify the CONTENT or create any derived work,
- To decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the CONTENT.
The User cannot sell, sublicense or lease the CONTENT to a third party.
The User acknowledges that Ubisoft may collect and use certain User data in accordance with the privacy policy accessible on the website :

4- Member account, password and security
Service offered through the Site requires you to open an account (“Member Account”), you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You then will choose a password and a user name. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and Member Account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your Member Account. You agree to notify Ubisoft immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Ubisoft will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or Member Account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by Ubisoft or another party due to someone else using your Member Account or password. You may not use anyone else's account at any time, without the permission of the account holder.
5- Termination of the Licence
The Licence is effective from the creation of the Member Account.
It is terminated automatically by Ubisoft without notice if the User fails to adhere to the terms and conditions of the Licence.
6- Warrantee Limitation
The User recognises expressly that he uses the CONTENT at his own risk.
The CONTENT is provided as is.
To the extent of what is laid down by the Law, Ubisoft rejects any warrantee relating to the User’s satisfaction or its capacity to perform a specific use.
The User is responsible for all risks connected with lost profit, lost data, errors and lost business or other information as a result of owning or using the CONTENT.
The User is responsible to ascertain that his/her computer system meets the requirements as described on the CONTENT’s documentation.
As some legislations do not allow for the aforementioned warrantee limitation, it is possible that it does not apply to the User.
7- Liability
In no event can Ubisoft be held liable for any direct, consequential, accidental, special, ancillary or other damages arising out of the use or inability to use the CONTENT, as well as out of the ownership or poor functioning thereof, even if Ubisoft has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In particular, Ubisoft accepts no liability regarding use of the CONTENT contrary to the precautions for use set out in the documentation.
As some legislation do not allow exemption from liability in the event of direct or incidental damages, it is possible that the aforementioned exclusion does not apply to the User.
This Licence to use the CONTENT grants specific rights to the User and he may have other rights depending on the laws in his Country, States or Province.
